CCISD Advanced Academic Specialists and other special presenters will lead break-out sessions to educate parents about special issues faced by gifted children and the educational challenges and opportunities before them. Participants will have an opportunity to attend two break-out session on topics such as perfectionism, underachievement, asynchronous development, visual spatial learners, and ESL challenges. In addition, a special presentation entitled "Finding Purpose in High School and Beyond" by Dr. Beth Dennard of Bright Futures Consulting will be offered. http://www.brightfuturesllc.com/
